What is the Hour of Code?
Hour of Code is a global movement with more than 100 million learners in 180 countries. A one-hour activity. Students of all ages, kindergarten and up will learn How-to-Code. Many students’ had experience using the Code.org website last year. Other students are using iPad apps like Hopscotch introduced last year to learn how to code. This year Code.org is introducing new tutorials and lesson’s to kick of the 2015 Hour of Code! I’m excited to be hosting the hour of Code at Fox Hill, and looking forward to visiting classrooms and working with students to learn fundamental computer coding concepts that will develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
