I am very happy to announce that Weblinks for students is back!
Since being retired with the old Fox Hill website, I have been working to find a better home for these links. After experimenting with several other alternatives, I have decided to build a new website. With the district wide 1:1 iPad initiative, the new Weblinks page takes advantage of newer web programming that does not use Flash. All links (except some for Kindergarten and 1st grade links) are iPad compatible and additional resources such as “Life-Cycle” videos are included on the site. I am still adding sites, and have provided a suggestion form to submit websites you would like to see added.
The site functions similar to the old Weblinks page, using separate pages for grade level links. In addition, links to new district wide website such as i-Ready and Google Drive, have been added. I hope that the new version of “Weblinks for Students” will serve to be a valuable and useful new resource for students and teachers as we continue to work in the world of online communications, collaboration and Digital Literacy.
